The Greenville Zoo in South Carolina has reopened after being closed for ten days due to storm damage from a microburst and Hurricane Helene. Zoo veterinarian Dr. Nikolay Kapustin reported on Facebook that, fortunately, no animals experienced health issues during the storms.

Throughout the closure, the animals were closely monitored by their keepers. Zoo officials are now inviting the public to visit the zoo as a way to take a break from the stress caused by the storm. The zoo is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with final admission at 4:00 p.m.
