Vetnique Labs, a leading pet health and wellness company, announced its acquisition of Lintbells, known for the YuMOVE pet supplement brand, from private equity investor Inflexion. Financial details were not disclosed, and the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024. YuMOVE, the UK’s top joint mobility supplement for pets, also offers products for digestive health, anxiety, dermatological, and dental needs.
Vetnique, backed by Gryphon Investors, creates vet-recommended pet supplements and is known for Glandex, North America’s leading solution for anal gland disease. The acquisition combines their strengths in the U.S. and U.K. markets, aiming to expand their range of scientifically supported pet health products. Vetnique founder James Bascharon will remain CEO, while Fiona Hope continues as CEO of YuMOVE. The partnership is expected to accelerate YuMOVE’s growth in North America and enhance the global pet health and wellness platform, supported by Gryphon’s resources and expertise.
