The Morris Animal Foundation offers the Veterinary Student Scholar program, providing veterinary students at accredited programs with a stipend of up to $5,500 for mentor-guided research in animal health science. The program aims to support students at a crucial stage in their careers and has been available since 2015.

Approximately 600 students have participated in the program, emphasizing the importance of research as a gateway to understanding and innovation. Kathy Tietje, Chief Program Officer at Morris Animal Foundation, expresses excitement about supporting students globally. A participating student, Dennis Ronzani, highlights the program’s role in allowing young minds to learn and practice research methods, fostering proficiency in the field.
