The CATalyst Report

The CATalyst Council has introduced The CATalyst Report – State of the Cat: Wellness and Nutrition 2024, a detailed resource on feline health and nutrition. Drawing from surveys of 400 veterinarians and over 1,900 cat owners, the report uncovers critical insights into feline care. It reveals that only 54% of cat owners are fully satisfied with their veterinarians, 17% of respondents are first-time cat owners, and a notable discrepancy exists regarding advice on reducing transport stress—30% of owners recall receiving guidance, while 65% of veterinarians claim to provide it.

Designed to identify gaps and drive improvements in feline wellness, the report offers two in-depth options for stakeholders. The Management Insights Report ($9,500) summarizes survey findings to inform strategic decisions, while the Analyst Report ($19,500) provides multi-year data analysis, including metrics from 1,250 practices and 1.5 million patients, along with a live presentation for early adopters. These reports are essential tools for advancing feline health strategies.
