Paw Prosper, a pet health company, has launched two scholarships to support veterinary students and professionals: the Paw Prosper Student of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship and the Paw Prosper Continuing Education Scholarship. These scholarships aim to provide financial assistance and motivation to individuals committed to animal health and welfare. CEO Ryan DeCaire emphasized the company’s mission to support the next generation of Veterinary professionals.
The Student of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students in veterinary programs in the U.S. and Canada with a minimum GPA of 2.50. Applicants must submit a 1000-word essay on their defining moment towards a veterinary career. The Continuing Education Scholarship is for credentialed Veterinary professionals enrolled in advanced courses, requiring an essay on their motivation for further education. Both scholarships, open from July 8 to August 31, 2024, award $1000 each to two recipients announced on September 24, 2024.
