Walmart is expanding its pet care offerings, providing more affordable and accessible in-person and virtual Veterinary care, grooming, pet prescriptions, food, and supplies. With pet-related spending expected to grow 7% annually by 2030, Walmart is addressing the rising costs of pet care, offering transparent and low-cost services at new Walmart Pet Services centers. These centers will open in Cumming and Alpharetta, Georgia, and Glendale, Chandler, and Mesa, Arizona, following the success of a pilot in Dallas, Georgia.

Additionally, Walmart+ members will gain free, 24/7 access to virtual Veterinary consultations through a partnership with Pawp, starting October 18. Walmart also expanded its Pet Pharmacy service, offering low-cost pet prescription delivery. These initiatives strengthen Walmart’s position as a one-stop destination for pet owners, enhancing affordability and convenience in pet care.
