Walmart is expanding its pet care services in Arizona by opening five new Pet Services centers, including locations in Chandler, Glendale, and Mesa. These centers will offer a range of Veterinary services, grooming, and pet prescriptions in partnership with PetIQ, aiming to provide affordable, convenient care for pet owners. Services will include wellness exams, vaccinations, minor medical procedures, and grooming options for cats and dogs.

Walmart is also enhancing its online pet care, allowing Walmart+ members free, 24/7 access to virtual Veterinary services through a partnership with telehealth provider Pawp. This move reflects Walmart’s strategy to address the booming pet care market, which is projected to grow significantly in the coming years. The company intends to extend its pet service model to more locations, leveraging this demand to attract a broader customer base and drive in-store traffic.
