Dr. Brian Hamm, DVM, ACVIM
Dr. Brian Hamm is a board-certified veterinary internal medicine specialist, experienced veterinary leader, and passionate advocate for pets and their families. He began his career after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and went on to complete a residency in internal medicine, achieving board certification in 2012. Over the years, Dr. Hamm has built a career rooted in both exceptional patient care and visionary leadership within the veterinary field.
As a former CEO of a national veterinary group, Dr. Hamm has led multisite practices with a focus on high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care. His leadership philosophy blends clinical excellence with innovation, team development, and building supportive veterinary communities.
In addition to his leadership work, Dr. Hamm is the founder of the Paisley Paws Charitable Veterinary Foundation, a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to veterinary care for pets in need. His passion for community and creativity also extends beyond veterinary medicine—he is the owner of Paisley Candle & Home and Paisley Perk, a home décor boutique and coffee shop located in Kearney, Missouri.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hamm enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, gardening, fishing, and caring for a lively household that includes three dogs, two cats, and a small herd of reindeer—a unique family hobby that brings joy year-round.
