The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) has partnered with the Stanton Foundation to offer the Stanton Foundation Canine Spectrum of Care Clinical Trials Grant, providing up to $150,000 for clinical trials aimed at improving canine health and expanding affordable care options. Announced in September, the grant supports research focused on cost-effective approaches to common canine diseases and conditions, with immediate applicability in primary care settings.
Veterinarians with a passion for canine health research are encouraged to apply, focusing on studies that improve health outcomes, address common diseases in primary care, and provide affordable, sustainable solutions for both clients and Veterinary practices. The research must conclude within 24 months. Applicants must submit a three- to four-page proposal by December 1, 2024, outlining their research idea and estimated costs. Selected applicants will be notified by January 15, 2025. Detailed eligibility criteria and application guidelines are available on the AVMF website.
