The AVMA Council on Education has announced its schedule of accreditation site visits for 14 Veterinary schools and colleges worldwide in 2026. These comprehensive evaluations will take place throughout the year, beginning in January and concluding in December. U.S. institutions scheduled for visits include Arkansas State University, Auburn University, Western University of Health Sciences, Lincoln Memorial University, Louisiana State University, Michigan State University, Utah State University, Rowan University, Lyon College, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
International site visits are planned for the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, the University of Sydney in Australia, the University of Calgary in Canada, and the University of Montreal. The Council invites written, signed public comments regarding the scheduled visits or the veterinary programs under review. Submissions may be sent by mail or email to the AVMA’s Education and Research Division and must be signed to be considered. These visits are part of the Council’s ongoing role in maintaining educational standards in Veterinary medicine.
