Elanco Animal Health has announced FDA approval for Credelio Quattro™, a new monthly chewable tablet offering the broadest parasite protection for dogs. Credelio Quattro protects against six types of parasites: fleas, ticks, heartworms, and three intestinal parasites (roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms). This first-of-its-kind product contains four active ingredients (lotilaner, moxidectin, praziquantel, and pyrantel) and is suitable for dogs as young as 8 weeks and as small as 3.3 pounds.
It kills fleas and ticks quickly, offers 100% heartworm protection, and covers internal parasites with zoonotic potential—parasites that can infect both pets and humans.
