The Feather in Her Cap Association celebrated the achievements of women in the Animal Health industry at its eighth annual awards ceremony, honoring leaders for their contributions to Veterinary medicine and innovation.

Laurie Hueneke Martens, Associate Vice President at Merck Animal Health, won the 2025 Feather in Her Cap Award for her work in public policy, international trade, and sustainability. She has led efforts to remove regulatory barriers and improve supply chain resilience, while also mentoring young professionals.

The inaugural Entrepreneurial Spirit Award was given to Eve Hanks, CEO of MI:RNA Ltd, for pioneering microRNA technology in Veterinary diagnostics, advancing early disease detection through AI. Chelsie Estey, Vice President at Parnell, received the High Flyer Award for her leadership in launching new Veterinary products and mentoring young professionals.

The event also honored Kathy Gloyd posthumously for her contributions to Veterinary education and leadership, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
