Independence Pet Holdings (IPH) has appointed Munir Hafez as its new chief technology officer (CTO). With over 30 years of experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and cloud technologies, Hafez will lead the company’s technology initiatives to drive growth and innovation in pet health.

Hafez has an extensive background in software engineering and has successfully implemented agile methodologies at scale. Before joining IPH, he held leadership roles at Siemens, Harris, PwC, Deloitte, and EY, most recently serving as CIO at TransUnion, where he oversaw global digital technology initiatives. IPH CEO Kirk Haggard expressed confidence in Hafez’s ability to enhance the company’s digital infrastructure and innovation efforts. Hafez looks forward to collaborating with the team to develop cutting-edge solutions that benefit pets and their families.
