Edgar Glover, 37, was arrested in Phoenix on June 24 for allegedly performing unlicensed animal surgeries, including ear cropping and tail docking, in his garage. Authorities were alerted after The Good Vets animal hospital reported a dog with surgically altered ears and tail, prompting an investigation by the Arizona Humane Society. The dog’s owner, who paid $400 for the procedures, believed Glover’s home was a legitimate Veterinary office.
A search of Glover’s residence uncovered 16 dogs kept in inhumane conditions—without food, water, or proper care. Kennels contained dry or contaminated bowls, and some dogs showed signs of neglect, including urine scalding and untreated medical issues. Investigators found Veterinary equipment, medications, and an animal anesthetic, as well as a firearm Glover was prohibited from possessing due to a prior felony conviction. He faces multiple charges, including 16 counts of animal cruelty, practicing Veterinary medicine without a license, drug possession, and illegal firearm possession.
