The AVMA Convention 2025, held July 18–22 in Washington, D.C., will be a landmark event, as it also hosts the 40th World Veterinary Association (WVA) Congress. This global gathering of Veterinary professionals emphasizes collaboration, education, and innovation across animal and public health sectors. Themed “United for the Veterinary community,” the convention aims to foster global dialogue on veterinary medicine, zoonotic disease prevention, and client service.
Attendees can expect high-quality CE sessions, engaging exhibits from over 300 companies, and networking opportunities with peers worldwide. Highlights include a keynote address from former Marine K9 officer and veterinary technician Megan Leavey, who will share the inspiring story behind her bond with military dog Rex. Entertainment will feature a live concert by Grammy winner Meghan Trainor at the Anthem venue.
