British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) has announced that CEO Amanda Stranack will step down after 14 years with the organization. As BSAVA prepares to implement a new strategic plan, Stacy Woodman has been appointed Interim CEO to ensure continuity and guide the association through the leadership transition. Woodman has worked closely with the Board and leadership team over the past year to help shape the organization’s new business plan and strategic direction.
Stranack joined BSAVA in 2012 as Head of Congress, became Director of Operations in 2016, and was appointed CEO in 2019. During her tenure as CEO, membership grew to more than 10,000, underscoring the association’s continued relevance and value to the veterinary profession. Further details about BSAVA’s updated strategic plan and future direction are expected to be announced in mid-March.
