Dechra, a global Veterinary specialty care company, has announced plans to establish its global headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, with operations expected to begin in June 2026. The move from its current base in Northwich, England, is part of a strategic effort to strengthen its presence in North America and support continued growth in the Animal Health sector.
Boston was chosen for its strong life sciences ecosystem, access to top talent, and global connectivity, all of which support innovation and collaboration. The new headquarters, located in the Seaport District, will serve as a modern, technology enabled hub designed to align with the company’s remote first approach. Most employees will continue to work remotely or in hybrid roles, while the Boston location will provide a central space for leadership and global coordination. As part of this transition, Dechra will consolidate certain operations in the United States and United Kingdom to enhance efficiency and support long-term growth.
