Cosmos Health has announced its entry into the Animal Health market through the planned launch of a Veterinary formulation of C-Scrub Wash 4%, an antimicrobial wash that has already been established in the human healthcare sector. The product will initially launch in the United Kingdom, with broader international expansion planned. The move gives Cosmos Health access to the rapidly growing global Animal Health market, which was valued at approximately $68.7 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $156 billion by 2033.
The Veterinary formulation follows successful independent testing under European standards EN 1656:2019 and EN 1657:2024, demonstrating strong bactericidal and yeasticidal activity against key pathogens. Manufactured by Cosmos Health subsidiary Cana Laboratories, C-Scrub Wash 4% contains 4% chlorhexidine digluconate, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent. CEO Greg Siokas said the expansion leverages the company’s existing brand recognition, manufacturing capabilities, and distribution infrastructure to pursue new opportunities in Veterinary healthcare, including use in breeding operations, husbandry, Veterinary facilities, and animal transport environments.
