Transcend Veterinary in Menasha, Wisconsin, reopened on August 3 after closing for one week due to damage and power outages caused by an EF3 tornado that struck the area on July 27. The storm sheared off nearby power poles, sending utility lines into the clinic’s parking lot and leaving the facility without electricity until service was restored on August 1. While the building sustained exterior damage, its interior remained intact. Contractors repaired the roof before additional rain arrived, and staff cleaned the property over the weekend to prepare for reopening.
Despite the temporary setback, the family owned practice remains committed to its growth plans. Transcend Veterinary is continuing an ongoing expansion and is training additional team members to extend operating hours into evenings and weekends over the coming months. The expanded schedule is intended to improve access to after hours Veterinary care and help meet growing demand throughout Wisconsin’s Fox Valley region.
