The North American Veterinary Community is accepting applications for the Dr. Earl H. Rippie Veterinary Nurse/Technician Leadership Scholarship, which recognizes Veterinary nurses and technicians who have demonstrated leadership and positively impacted the Veterinary profession or their practice. Two domestic and one international recipient will receive complimentary registration to VMX 2027, scheduled for January 16–20, 2027, along with airfare, hotel accommodations, per diem, a hands-on workshop, and VIP event access.
Domestic applicants must be credentialed Veterinary technicians, while international candidates must be qualified or credentialed in their home country. The scholarship honors Dr. Earl H. Rippie, a respected Veterinary leader who championed the role of Veterinary nurses and technicians as essential members of the Veterinary team.
Applications must include a completed form, résumé or CV, two letters of recommendation, and proof of professional association membership if applicable. The application deadline is June 1, 2026, with winners notified by July 1, 2026.
