Elanco Animal Health announced that the U.S. FDA has approved Credelio Quattro™, the broadest canine oral parasiticide, offering protection against six types of parasites, including fleas, ticks, heartworms, and three intestinal parasites (roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms). The monthly chewable tablet is suitable for dogs aged eight weeks or older and weighing at least 3.3 pounds. Credelio Quattro starts killing ticks and fleas within 4 hours and provides 100% protection from heartworm disease after the first dose.
It also offers protection against zoonotic parasites that can affect both pets and humans.
