A Michigan jury convicted a former office manager of Bay Animal Hospital in Bay City of embezzling more than $20,000 from the clinic. Lindsay R. Investigators uncovered unauthorized bank transfers, ATM withdrawals, and misuse of prepaid gift cards totaling tens of thousands of dollars. Additional findings showed payroll discrepancies and missing funds tied to rebates and credit card activity.
