The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) has launched two award programs recognizing excellence across the Veterinary profession: the inaugural Today’s Veterinary Business Best Places to Practice program and the returning VETTY Awards.
Best Places to Practice is designed to recognize Veterinary clinics with outstanding workplace cultures while providing participating practices with anonymized employee satisfaction and engagement data. Practices can also benchmark their results against similar organizations. NAVC says the recognition can strengthen employer branding and support recruiting efforts.
Meanwhile, the VETTY Awards are entering their 10th year, honoring excellence in marketing and communications within animal healthcare. New categories for 2027 include brand storytelling, best rebranding, and social media viral moment. Eligible work must have been produced between November 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026.
VETTY winners will be recognized during VMX 2027, scheduled for January 16–20 in Orlando, Florida.
