VolitionRx Limited has partnered with Fujifilm Vet Systems Co. Ltd to launch the Nu.Q Vet Cancer test for veterinarians in Japan. The agreement allows Fujifilm Vet Systems to sell and perform cancer screenings using the test across its network of laboratories. Nu.Q Vet Cancer is a noninvasive screening tool for canine cancer detection, particularly targeting breeds at higher risk.
With 1 in 4 dogs diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, early detection is vital. Volition aims to expand its market reach in Asia, leveraging Fujifilm Vet Systems’ extensive diagnostic network. This partnership marks Volition’s latest international expansion, following previous launches in Ireland and the UK, and collaborations with other laboratory companies like IDEXX laboratories, Inc.
