Wedgewood Pharmacy has voluntarily recalled nearly 4,000 compounded Veterinary products due to concerns that they may contain incorrect amounts of active ingredients. The recall follows internal quality reviews that identified inconsistencies in analytical testing data. The company has received 98 complaints, including seven classified as serious.
Affected products include oral, injectable, and topical medications for companion animals, horses, exotic pets, wildlife, and zoo and aquatic animals. These products were distributed between February 18 and October 6, 2026.
Wedgewood has partnered with recall management company Sedgwick to notify affected customers and coordinate refunds or replacements. Veterinary practices are urged to inspect their inventories, discontinue use of recalled products, and contact affected clients.
Pet owners should also stop using recalled medications and seek guidance. The company is working to identify alternative treatments to maintain continuity of care. The FDA is aware of the recall and accepts reports of adverse reactions.
